Ken Etheridge,
PRESIDENT &
CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Ken began his career as an Art Director, working at some of the finest advertising agencies in New York City. His expertise lies in positioning companies for long-term competitive advantage through strategic branding and a sophisticated approach to design and marketing. To date Ken has created 49 strategic branding solutions and facilitated many strategic branding seminars in Canada and the United States. He has also written a book - The Science of Strategic Branding.

Ken has developed an excellent insight into the client management/agency relationship and a clear understanding of the creative process. He has won many national and international marketing awards including two Clio’s, the advertising industry's most prestigious prize worldwide. It’s like getting 2 Oscars!

Thomas Boydell,
VICE-PRESIDENT
OF NON-PROFIT

Prior to joining KEA, Thomas was the Economic Director for the City of Bellevue, WA. He spent more than 30 years in leadership roles in government, non-profits, management consulting, and business. He has created more than two dozen innovations in government services, business, non-profit and joint efforts both internationally and domestically. He has also led several teams to raise donations, grants and corporate sponsorships totaling millions of dollars.

Another notable achievement includes founding www.BellevueCN.com, an English-Chinese digital magazine and social media platform for marketing technology companies in China, which is effective in recruiting foreign investment from East Asia to Washington State.

Thomas holds degrees from Wharton, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Boston University.

Cynthia Andrews,
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
OF NON-PROFITS

Cynthia Andrews is a dynamic and motivated professional with a proven record of generating and building business relationships, managing projects from concept to completion, designing educational strategies, and coaching individuals to success. Her exceptional communication skills enable her to build and lead highly efficient and effective cross-functional teams.

As Executive Director of the Central Area Senior Center in Seattle, Washington and the Eagle’s Mt. Academy in Phenix City, Alabama, Cynthia was responsible for the day-to-day activities of each organization. She developed, fostered and supported relationships with local, state, regional and national government and non-governmental organizations.

Cynthia experience, expertise and passion for cultivating success make her a valued addition to the KEA team.

Peter Helgeson,
Non-Profit
Administrator

Peter is a specialist in non-profit administration and fundraising. He earned a BA from the University of Oregon, holds several certifications, and has over two decades of hands-on, high level experience. His forte lies in crafting highly effective communications and revenue development strategies, and writing grants that involve complex funding and programmatic issues. Peter’s exceptional communications skills, team-focused approach, strong work ethic and commitment to accuracy produce remarkable results. As managing director at the Wrangell Radio Group in Alaska, he increased grants by 350%.

Peter is well regarded by his peers in the industry and a valued advisor to the KEA team. We are excited to be able to offer his insight and expertise to our clients.

Ted Pettus,

ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Ted co-founded Lockhart & Pettus Inc. in 1977. Under his leadership and passion it grew to be a very successful full-service, advertising agency in the United States. Some of their clients included Chrysler- Dodge, Plymouth and Jeep, Pepsi, Con Edison, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Panasonic, Wendy’s, R.J. Reynolds, Glory Foods, Canadian Club, Centers For Disease Control, U.S. Army and Carson Products Co., the Equitable Life Insurance Co., Bank-One, United Negro College Fund and The Interfaith Medical Center.

We are excited and honoured to have Ted join the KEA team. John Keirstead, APR

PUBLIC RELATIONS

John is a seasoned professional with national and international experience in all aspects of public relations, marketing, promotion and advertising. He has worked with several of Canada's leading public relations and marketing communications firms, including PIR, Wilson Public Relations, and Berger & Associates Ltd. The accounts he was responsible for included several federal government departments, the United States EXPO 86 Pavilion, BC Cellular, ICBC, RNABC, Urban Development Institute (Pacific Region), Imperial Securities, Hotel Meridien Vancouver, The EXPO 86 Corporation, the District of Surrey, and Scott Paper Limited.

Sharing his knowledge and expertise, John is a Part Time Studies instructor at the British Columbia Institute of Technology School of Business. What John brings to the KEA team is the kind of public relations knowhow you can only master through frontline experience.

Nicole D. Paolino,

Nicole is a Rezults-driven digital marketer and e-Commerce executive with 10 years of experience in leading operations for large-scale projects in a highly competitive marketplace. Internet marketing, conversion optimization and growth hacking are the tools of her trade.

Her genius for crafting compelling, thought-provoking content drives inbound marketing, lead generation, reputation management, and monetization. Corporate digital media customer-centric strategy is her A game.

Quinn Rusnell,

WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT

Quinn is a full-stack web developer, digital marketer, and SEO specialist. He has been involved on a professional level with internet technology, website development, Google, and programming since the late 90s. Working with companies of all sizes to improve their web presence and technology, he has helped over 100 clients with a wide variety of website, marketing and IT needs.

Quinn has a passion for targeted online marketing, having been certified by Google for analytics, trends, search, and online advertising. His skill-set also includes mobile application design and development, e-Commerce technologies, and frameworks for multi-user/multi-vendor websites. He regularly writes about his experience and knowledge, and was awarded 2016 Top Writer on Quora (the largest general Q&A forum), most viewed in many topics including web development, web design, search engine optimization, and web marketing.

Carol Jamieson,

Carol is an accomplished copywriter with 25 of years of experience and a proven track record in corporate, trade and consumer communications and direct mail.

She is skilled at writing for various mediums (print, web, radio, video, television). Her forte is being able to quickly gain an understanding of the material provided, and script it in such a way that it grabs the reader’s attention, engages interest, and promotes action. She is fast and reliable, delivers quality copy that speaks to target audiences, and consistently meets deadlines.

Alison Bailey,
PROJECT MANAGER

Alison is a solution-driven process thinker with years of training and experience utilizing project management methodology, tools and techniques on a wide range of projects.

She applies her project management and business acumen to analyze budgets and project feasibility. In creating the project plans, Alison consults with stakeholders to define the project scope and deliverables. Her ability to adapt to the various internal procedures of the contracting party, and to form close links with the nominated representatives, is essential to ensuring that the key issues of cost, time, quality, and above all, client satisfaction are realized.

Jeffrey P. Mischuda,
SENIOR ART DIRECTOR

Jeff excels in all the techniques used in both traditional and computer graphic design, including drawing, design and colour theory, typography, as well as the standard software like Photoshop, Microsoft, Illustrator and InDesign. He is skilled at presenting information and a path for the consumer while hitting that perfect balancing point between space-wasting and cluttering.

His designs for publications, packaging, advertising, corporate branding and websites are all built on strong graphics as well as his creative flair.

Gerald Reynolds,
ART DIRECTOR

Gerald shares the team’s commitment to excel in everything we do. His areas of expertise are in graphic design for print, website design and strategic branding. He is skilled in Adobe InDesign CS, Illustrator CS, Photoshop CS, Dreamweaver, and Microsoft applications for PC and Mac.

A true team player, Gerald is a great asset to the creative process. He always takes care to step back, be objective and consider the big picture. His insight and ability to articulate his thinking behind a project or idea is highly valued.
